Tammy Starkey, Psychotherapist
Tammy Starkey Mark Twain
Psychotherapist for children, adolescents and young adults

Icarus by Matisse

Tammy Starkey understands the challenges kids and teens face daily in their life journey.

In her private psychotherapy practice with children, adolescents and young adults, her work is built on a foundation of understanding and appreciating the challenges kids face, accepting where they are in their journey, respecting their perspectives, trusting that they do the best they can, and desiring to create an environment where change is possible.

Tammy believes that change is co-created by the client and therapist each bringing their expertise into each session.  She then weaves practical solutions, with theory and research.

Her 25 years of working with children and her experience as a mother have taught her that when kids make an honest assessment of the way things are, and then envision the way they want things to be… that great things can happen.
