Tammy Starkey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) working exclusively with children, adolescents and young adults, in Hennepin and Carver Counties of Minnesota. Sixteen years ago, Tammy began working with the Augustus program at Hennepin County Juvenile Probation. Since then her work has included social work positions at various elementary, junior and senior high schools, as well as an on-call position at Minneapolis Children’s Hospital and Clinics.

Individualized Approach
Tammy designs individualized plans tailored to meet the needs of each client. Her integrative approach includes various techniques such as, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative, psychodynamic, family systems, play techniques, sand tray, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
